The European arm

International removals from the UK.

When a move does not stop at the coast, KJS keeps going. We run removals from the UK to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal — by road, door to door, with the customs side handled properly. Moving to Spain from the UK, or to France, Italy or Portugal? This is where to start.

How it works

Moving abroad,
handled properly.

The pattern is the same wherever you are going. We collect anywhere in the UK, bring the load down to the M20 or M2, cross the Channel at Dover or on the Eurotunnel, and drive to your door in Europe — no tipping your things between depots along the way. A full home travels as a dedicated load; a smaller move goes as a shared part-load consolidated with others on the same route, which keeps a flat-sized move affordable over the distance.

Because we work nationally, moves start from all over — London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the towns between. Wherever you are, we build the collection into the route.

The part people worry about most is customs, and understandably — it changed after Brexit. Moving furniture from the UK to France, Spain, Italy or Portugal now means a valued inventory and the right transit and entry documents. We prepare all of it with you and explain plainly what each form does. No day counts we cannot honour, no vague reassurance; just the paperwork done and an estimated window in your written quote.

European moves — questions

Good to know.

Which European countries do you cover?
Our dedicated routes are France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, and we can quote for other European destinations on request. Whichever it is, we run the move by road from the UK and handle the customs paperwork on the way out.
Where in the UK do you collect from?
Across the whole country — London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh and points between. Tell us where the move starts and we plan the collection into the route.
Full load or shared load to Europe?
A whole house usually travels as a dedicated load; a flat or a part-home goes shared, consolidated with other moves on the same route to keep the cost down over distance. We advise honestly based on your volume.
What happens with customs after Brexit?
Your used household goods can still move to the EU, but they travel as a formal consignment now — a valued inventory plus transit and entry documents. We prepare these with you before departure and explain what each is for, so the border is handled, not left to chance.
Can you store our things before shipping?
Yes. If your overseas property or your dates are not ready, we can hold everything in secure storage in the UK and ship on the next suitable run.
